Apple has again set the bar high for innovation with the release of its all-new MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro, all driven by the company’s next-generation M4 Ultra chip. The news was revealed at Apple’s much-awaited “Power of Pro” event, live-streamed from Cupertino, where CEO Tim Cook introduced the new lineup to redefine performance, creativity, and immersive computing.
The event’s star moment was the release of MacBook Pro (2025 Edition) in 14-inch and 16-inch versions. Apple boasts up to 45% faster CPUs and 60% better GPU efficiency with the new M4 Ultra chip compared to older M3. The laptop boasts a mini-LED XDR display, improved battery life up to 22 hours, and an advanced thermal architecture for long-term heavy loads — an obvious draw for developers, designers, and creators.
Just as impressive was the introduction of the iPad Pro (2025), the thinnest and most capable iPad produced. At just 5.1mm thin, the new device includes the same M4 Ultra chip, an OLED Ultra Retina screen, and enhanced stylus sensitivity with the newest Apple Pencil 3. The iPad Pro now eliminates the boundary between tablet and laptop, providing effortless multitasking and full desktop-class capability, and it makes a perfect tool for creative professionals on the move.
Apple also made its visionary Vision Pro mixed-reality headset available with an enhanced chip and longer battery life. The latest model offers a lighter build, better spatial tracking, and support for Apple Intelligence, Apple’s new AI system. This enables users to interact with tasks, navigate surroundings, and even edit content with intuitive hand gestures and voice commands — collapsing physical and digital realms as seamlessly as ever.
At the event, Tim Cook outlined Apple’s vision for future computing: “We believe the power of the M4 Ultra chip brings professional-grade performance to everyone, across every device. This is the next generation of Pro.”
Apple also revealed that the new iPad Pro and MacBook Pro are available for pre-order from this week, while global shipping will start October 25, 2025. The Vision Pro (2025 Edition) will be available in selected markets later in this year.
The release has already created monstrous hype among professionals and tech enthusiasts alike, with many referring to it as Apple’s biggest “Pro” update since Apple Silicon was introduced. With enhanced power efficiency, elegant design, and AI-based performance, Apple continues to push the limits of power, portability, and intelligence.
