The West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has officially released the results of the Clerkship Examination (Part-I) 2023. A total of 89,821 candidates have cleared the initial stage and will be eligible to attend the next Part II examination. This is a key phase in the recruitment drive for clerks to various state government departments.

The Clerkship Part-I exam was held on 16th and 17th November, 2024, in computer-based online mode. The recruitment drive provides 676 clerical posts in various departments of the West Bengal government. Those who are qualified in Part I will now proceed to Part II, in which they will be required to undergo a typing test and a computer proficiency test. The last merit list will be drawn by merging marks of both Part I and Part II exams, provided candidates are declared successful in the skill tests.

  • Go to the official WBPSC website: psc.wb.gov.in
  • Go to the “What’s New” link on the homepage
  • Click the link with the caption “ROLL NUMBERS OF CANDIDATES WHO HAVE BEEN QUALIFIED FOR CLERKSHIP EXAMINATION (PART-II), 2023.”
  • Open the PDF and locate your roll number
  • Download and take a print of the result for future reference

  • OBC-A: 48
  • OBC-B: 48
  • SC: 47
  • ST: 29

Candidates who have passed Part-I are requested to prepare for Part-II in order to get their name included in the final selection list. The WBPSC has informed candidates to be current with notifications from the official website for precise instructions on the next phase of the recruitment process.
